Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how NeonBill POS ("we", "us"), operated by Aditya Ramchanchal Gupta, collects, uses and protects your information when you use our app.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash), or your Google account email if you sign in with Google.
• Business data you enter: business name, logo, GST rate, UPI ID, items, stock, invoices and customer details you add while billing.
• Payment information: subscription payments are processed by Razorpay. We receive only the payment status and reference ID — we never see or store your card, bank or UPI credentials.
• Device information: a push notification token (only if you grant notification permission on the mobile app).

2. How we use your information

• To provide the billing, inventory and reporting features of the Service.
• To process and verify subscription payments.
• To send service emails (e.g., welcome and subscription confirmations) and notifications you have enabled.
• To respond to support requests.

3. What we do NOT do

• We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
• We do not use your business data (items, invoices, customers) for advertising.
• We do not share your data with third parties except the service providers listed below.

4. Third-party services

• Razorpay — payment processing (governed by Razorpay's privacy policy).
• Google — optional Google Sign-In and push notification delivery (Firebase Cloud Messaging).
• Resend — delivery of service emails such as welcome and payment confirmations.

5. Data storage and security

Your data is stored in secured cloud databases. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms (bcrypt), traffic is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS, and access to production systems is restricted.

6. Data retention and deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete Account inside the app, or by emailing adigupta566@gmail.com. Deletion is irreversible.

7. Your rights

You may access, correct, export (CSV) or delete your data at any time from within the app. For any other privacy request, contact us using the details below.

8. Children

The Service is intended for business use by adults and is not directed at children under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email.
